You created an open, fun and great learning environment.

I deliver writing workshops in association with Janette Simpson and Write At Studio 31 in Teddington, South West London.

My course on writing comedy course looks at what makes us laughs and helps you think about what funny actually means to you. We play with words and try out some improvisation techniques to get the creative juices going. We look at structure, analyse jokes and think about how and where to use humour in our writing. You have a chance to try your hand at some writing exercises and learn about the importance of editing and redrafting. Whether you write novels, short stories or poems or if you just fancy exploring your inner comedian then this fun, relaxed day is for you.

For more information please contact me and I’ll get back to you with more details.

How do you get started with writing? The secret’s in the sauce… here’s an article about playwriting  I wrote for Blackshaw Theatre.

If you’ve ever felt like giving up you might like to read this article I wrote for Bang2Write about the love hate relationship of being a writer.
